I have been to Baguio all my life but this visit is special because I am going to take photos of one of my favourite trees: the pine tree! And sure Baguio City is famous as the city of pines! It was a quick trip, I think for only 2 hours in Baguio and then I had to head up north. So below pictures are not the typical images of this mountainous urban area. Instead, these pictures show Baguio as a city within a park (and not the other way around) with the pine trees as the protagonists. Love it!
I was really surprised how beautiful this part of the Philippines is! I went there without too many expectations but I was delighted by what I saw. It's really beautiful.
And sure, I am quite content of the pictures I made here! I am only using a simple digital camera but I've got nothing to complain about!
I have heard a lot of this place. I have read and watch videos as well. Somehow, I would ignore them at first. After all, it was not so exotic to me. I am Ilocano and Pagudpud is in Ilocos Norte.
My family has been there and brought me some pictures. Ahh, not impressed. But anyway, it seemed the weather was bad when they were there...
I decided to go. I would not want to take the 12-hour bus ride to Ilocos Norte from Manila. Definitely not. Days before that, I was already contemplating on flying on the Q400 of PAL Express. I checked the timetable and yeah, there's one flying to Tuguegarao in Cagayan. So from Cagayan, I would travel by bus going to Ilocos Norte. And I did.
This part of the Philippines has to be one of the most beautiful. It has waterfalls, forested mountains and nice beaches. These are some of the most beautiful sceneries I've seen so far! I never thought it would be this beautiful!
And again, quite happy with my pictures!
Origem: Manila (MNL)
Destino: Tuguegarao (TUG)
Data: 7 Março 2009
Hora: 0935
Número de voo: 2P/PR18
Tipo de avião: Bombardier Q400
O voo rumo a TUG, demorou 2 horas!
